I'm tired of being the funny guy on my server all the time

Geeze, whenever I play World of Warcraft it's like I'm always on. People are always waiting for me to say something funny in chat. Like yesterday when I was Ironforge, I just knew that everyone was just waiting for me to make a joke, so I linked my [Breastplate of Valor] in the Trade Channel and said "WTS 5s".

I got like 10 tells from people asking if I was serious. I listed all their names in public chat and said they were n00bs for trying to buy a "bind on pickup" item.


	And for the last time, yes, I was responsible for the Chuck Norris sensation.

Everyone thought that was hilarious. I mean, no one said "lol" or anything, but my stuff is more cerebral than laugh out loud funny.

I hate it when people ask me to do specific routines, like when I do my /dance in front of the Auction House. That routine used to include standing in the braziers and healing myself every few seconds, but the last patch made it so you couldn't get that really awesome explosion sound to go off, so I stopped.

A funny thing to do to Gnomes is type "/em punts <insert Gnome's name here>". I do it to every Gnome that I run into. I went to Gnomeregan the other day and it was like a Bob Hope tour:

Believe me, I've faced a lot of criticism in the last year. Most people think that my work is derivative. Sure, we all stand on the shoulders of giants, but I was making fun of Rick James way before Dave Chapelle. Here's part of a conversation that I was having just last week:

To [Balryn]: im rick james btch
[Balryn] whispers: Do you even know who Rick James is?
To [Balryn]: yes, im him beotch
To [Balryn]: beeeeeeooooooooooootch!!!!
Balryn is ignorning you.

Besides, I do a lot more than Rick James impressions. Take the other day for example. I was doing an UBRS run, and when my group got to The Beast, I hit my fart macro. "Lroyjenkonns brushes up against The Beast and farts loudly". Oh man, it was classic! I mean, he went aggro and we all wiped, but it was really hilarious.

Oh, and you're probably wondering about my name. I'm sure you've seen it before, after all, Leeroy Jenkins is a World of Warcraft hero. Although, I feel like his approach is a little stale, so I've decided to improve on his formula. Before I go into battle I always yell "LEEEEEEEERRRRROOOOOYYYYY JENKINS!!!" and then I hit a custom macro I made that reads: "Lroyjenkonns aggroes everything in the room". People always go nuts for it.

The hardest part of being a comedian is constantly reinventing yourself. If you keep doing the same old tired gags, then the most you'll ever become is a gimmick comic. Personally, I've been working on some new material lately and it's getting me a lot of attention. The way it works is I go into a high level instance and I wait until we finish off the last boss. Once everyone passes on the dropped loot, I hit the "Need" button, hearth, and quit my guild! I like where it's going, but there are still some kinks to work out. Maybe I should hit my fart macro first. Yeah, that would be funny, I should write that one down.

Lroy, last night when you went up to that Tauren female and did the /sexy command, it was hilarious!!! I think what made it funny is that taurens aren't very sexy but you thought they were!

I would like to point out an obvious flaw in this piece. The author states that he is the progenitor of the "Rick James" jokes. Pray tell did you beat Dave Chapelle to the punch when World of Warcraft would be released almost a full year after Chapelle's infamous episode first aired?

this has got to be the funniest crap in the game... what's worse is how some people take it all serious.. if it bothers you that much to see some macro pop up every five minutes QUIT... there's noone with a gun to your head making you read the fucking thing so just QUIT.. humor like this should help people realize that it's just a game.. unfortunately most of the people posting on here don't realize there's a thing called a "social life" outside of WoW... keep on man keep on!!! Wow... Okay, so this is just a BIT weird. It kind of makes me angry that parents allow their illiterate, pre-pubescient little kids play in the first place.
